What can AB testing do?

AB testing is a hypothesis testing method when two equal audiences are shown two different versions of advertising, landing pages, etc. It is widely used not only in contextual advertising, but even outside of digital marketing.
You can test both the ads themselves and their components: headings, second headings, texts, sitelinks or regular links. For example, if we buy traffic for branded queries and we have the opportunity to drive traffic to the main page or promotion page, we need to check which of the landing pages gives a more positive result.

1. The show schedule is another popular type of test. For example, we buy traffic around the clock and want to understand: in the morning, afternoon or evening it pays off better. You can do an AB test for these three segments and evaluate the effectiveness of traffic purchases in each of them.

2. Through testing, it is better to carry out classroom adjustments. For example, when we have bounced visits to a site, we hypothesize that we don’t want to buy traffic from such users.
